From the recording Selu Song
Inspired by the Tibetan verse : “Through the great bliss state I become the mentor deity. From my luminous body light rays shine all around massively blessing beings and things making the universe pure fabulous perfection in it’s every quality”.
Composed and arranged by Naomi Louise Warne and Brian Vibberts for instruments and vocals. Selu Song is a healing song, a cosmic dance of strength and beauty.
Brian Vibberts’s brilliant inspired playing on 5 instruments - sitar, shakuhachi, percussion, ocarina, Indonesian gamelan, and the added sound of ocean waves …conjures up music of the spheres. Chanted by Naomi Louise Warne evoking the healing power of the ancient One Love mantra, ek ong kar.
On flugelhorn, the great Jeff Oster calls forth the infinite way with his every soulful note. Holding it together on sitar drone with poise, power, and passion is the multi-talented Gabe Deibel.
Selu - The Goddess of the Corn ( Cherokee) rises up from Mother Earth, the great Gaia, with her bountiful crop…. bringing life & hope to her people .
